A Loverly Beach Wedding

I am so excited to team up with Lover.ly to share a beautiful styled wedding dress that is perfect for a beach wedding. I got married last year on this gem of a spot that has a private beach access, so I jumped at the opportunity to collaborate with Loverly on how I would style a beach wedding if I could do it all over again.

Being a Pisces, I am naturally drawn to water. I love it’s carefree nature and how it has the ability to just wash everything away clean and let you start new, and that is what a wedding signifies to me. A new begging with a partner by your side.

My wedding was the opposite of a traditional Indian/Persian wedding, in that all elements of our decor had a modern influence. The only traditional element I had to my big day was my wedding outfit. But if I had the luxury of having two receptions for my wedding day, I would still choose the beach but I would go for a dress that best reflects the natural elements of the location.

I would go for a wedding gown with a flowy fabric that moves with the breeze and has some gorgeous handwork details. Can you imagine a bride walking down the isle with this gorgeous Ann Taylor gown with appliqued rose petals fluttering as she moves?

Since the gown is the main focus, I kept the accessories minimal with a touch of the elements and glam.
