I purchased this gorgeous parka a few days ago and am dying to wear it, but in the meantime I am adjusting my wardrobe by adding a few layers. How to look chic and parisian, how to look chic in sweater and skirt, what you need to look chic in december, the art of layeringI grabbed this gorgeous accordion skirt during a Black Friday sale and wanted a chance to wear it before the weather gets too cold. The floor length hem is perfect to help create the illusion of height and add a little warmth by creating a barrier to the external elements. The pleats help create a streamlined silhouette and add a layer of depth. How to look chic and parisian, how to look chic in sweater and skirt, what you need to look chic in december, the art of layeringHow to look chic and parisian, how to look chic in sweater and skirt, what you need to look chic in december, the art of layering

With the weather in flux at +10 degrees in temperatures, I have been building a large collection of knits lately. My favorite is this grey number that I feel like I haven’t worn enough times. It is the coziest number in my wardrobe that I got a similar one in both black and a this beautiful deep burgundy color. I love the relaxed fit and the way it drapes, plus I am a sucker for textured oversized rib knits.

Another item I am a total sucker for are these cozy drivers I purchased three years ago. These drivers were tough to get as all the stores in Toronto don’t carry them and there are a limited handful in the states that do. If you want a pair of flats that are comfortable, effortless and will last – these are it. Yes they are a bit steep in price, but they are worth every penny if you want a pair of flats that look stylish for years and won’t break your feet. The fit is as snug like the isotoner slippers with a solid base. I am wearing a size 38.5 (my usual shoe size is 8.5).

Yes, the weather has been so freakish as of late. All of my planned holiday outfits for this time of year are getting redone in my mind. I don’t mind though… I suspect we’ll get cold and snow soon enough.

Love how bohemian cool this outfit is and your pictures are so lovely!

    Happy Holidays to you!
