Brunch at the Drake Hotel

It’s at the perfect time where you can combine your favorite items from both breakfast and lunch in to one meal. What makes brunch even better is when you have some good friends to enjoy it with so that it is filled with laughter and some fun stories.

My friend raved about The Drake Hotel because of their chicken and waffles. According to her they are the best in town. Now in all honesty, I couldn’t try it because I was on a pescetarian diet but the scent I got from it was mind blowingly amazing. Think crispy chicken from KFC, but ten times more potent in scent…I can only image how wonderful it tasted.Drake Hotel, Food, Lunch, Brunch, IG Foodie, IG Foodie Toronto Drake Hotel, Food, Lunch, Brunch, IG Foodie, IG Foodie TorontoI ordered the Shrimp Salad Sandwich and it was amazing. The sandwich was really good but in all honesty the fries were the best fries I have had. They had the right amount of crispiness and saltiness that I had to basically build a wall around my plate to fend off invaders stealing some (seriously!). Okay I confess, I gave a few away to my friends only because they couldn’t stand me raving about them plus it was the only way I could try a small slice of the smoke salmon bagel.

If you are looking for a perfect brunch or even lunch spot in Toronto, check out The Drake Hotel. Their number one item on the menu is the Chicken & Waffles, and if you have the chance – try out their Shrimp Salad Sandwich with a side of fries (their fries are da-best!).Drake Hotel, Food, Lunch, Brunch, IG Foodie, IG Foodie Toronto
